After the world has been taken over by the Dotat, humans that have dragon blood, much is lost to mankind as they are enslaved. But as a secret group within the Dotat stir in the hopes to wipe out humans from existence, the slaves are forced to work with the Datat to save their race. Among the humans is a young girl, Annabel, who is sent with a group to find the key in suppressing the up rise. Unable to fully trust the Dotats, many challenges face her as she starts to gain feelings for the kind she has despised her whole life. Will they be successful in their pursuit or will they Annabel snap under the strain of it all and lead to the demise of her people?
