Gaige Carson was finally free when his mother packed him up and sent up north. To his distant father and the perfect new family he has made. Immediately, and completely expected, harsh looks and snarky comments begin his time in a new world.

The only thing keeping him sane is deadly habits and secret traumas. The world seems so much easier if you distract yourself alone.
