Stumbling upon a bed of roses, she hurriedly dived into the depths of soft luxurious red petals and held her breath. Her red sweater allowed her to blend in with the flowers effortlessly. In the distance, she hears cries of anguish as the men marched away. She sighed. It was a close shave.

She sniffed the air. The roses perfumed her beautifully, and she smiled. She didn't realize the thorns piercing her skin menacingly, and the fact that her eyes were tearing painfully. Overwhelmed by the captivating scent, she closed her eyes as the roses lulled her into a deep sleep.
