In this world we live in, there exists two types of people.

The "normal" humans.

And the "Irregulars". People who are born with various special powers, known as PSI.

Every Irregular has a PSI of their own. Be it manipulating fire, controlling electricity, turning one's body into stone, etc.

Sounds cool, right? Unfortunately, the truth of it all is anything but.

Every single day, Irregulars have to face the stigma of being "different", compared to the ones those without special powers, a.k.a. the "normals".

To the normal humans, Irregulars are nothing more than a nuisance to society. Unwanted, hated, and loathed by many. Some instead see them as "monsters" who only know to destroy, and live in fear of the Irregulars going berserk.

Then there are the people in the field of science, who see Irregulars as nothing more than living bio-weapons, performing inhumane experiments on the Irregulars, and turning them into emotionless weapons of mass destruction.

As a result, most Irregulars suppress their own powers in the presence of humans, or just cast themselves away from the rest of society.

Worse, some Irregulars grow up to become criminals, using their powers for  evil rather than for good.

However, one young Irregular seeks to change all that, and create a world where Irregulars can coexist with humans without having to live in fear.

With his friends by his side, he will stop at nothing in order to achieve this perfect world, even if it kills him.

His name is Kouya Kaminari, and this is his story.

In an alternate timeline, the human race found a way to create superpowers. By extracting energy from stars and inserting that energy into humans, 'powers' were created. Powers allowed humans to gain unnatural abilities such as flight, invisibility, super strength or in other words, superpowers. Of course, with the introduction of something so revolutionary, people rose up in the hundreds of thousands in an event known as the Great Rebellion. The insurgents banded together under a single banner and became collectively known as the Shadow, marking the beginning of the Cosmic Wars. Out of the darkness, the Gazers were born. Using what remained of the power technology, the Gazers singlehandedly perished the evil and ended the conflict. However, there was a price to pay. Powers put a toll on the human body and had serious mental and physical repercussions. The solution was to recruit children from the age of 13 to 18 and train them so their bodies would adapt to their powers, eventually becoming immune to all negative side effects. The end of the Cosmic Wars brought forth a new age of peace and prosperity that the world had never seen before. However, the long reign of the Gazers has already begun to crumble, cracks showing up within the very thread of society. Their rule will not last for much longer. The Shadow will rise once again. Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else.
