To Thomas Alexander Smith, the only reason he is alive is to be a part of his country's elite protection system. Whether or not he wants to is completely out of the question. However, it only takes a small spark of hope, no matter how white and gooey, to change his mind. Surprisingly, he has the power to change the world's perspective on life. First, though, he has to find out he has that power. The Marshmallow Wars is a tale about finding who you are inside and moving on, no matter how difficult it may be.
