Ryan Black, known as Ryan Potter in certain close circles, is a thirteen-year-old wizard endowed with remarkable intelligence. He is a boy of unmatched courage, determined to protect his brother from any danger that lurks.

Returning to Hogwarts for his third year, Ryan and his brother have already been targeted by dark forces in their first two years. In this new school year, two criminals seem to be after them, or at least that's what the entire wizarding world believes.

Regulus Black, although he promised never to lie to the boys, has never fund the courage to reveal the truth about his brother and one of his good friends, Hazel Meadowes, in their thirteen years of life. Few people believe or fully understand them.

Now, faced with the inevitable, he must find the courage to tell them the truth about themselves before it's too late.
