After a traumatic event, Kaitlin Maybelle and her widowed mother move to Alaska and completely isolate themselves. Her mom works from home and well she is homeschooled. Suddenly time flies by and she turns 15, time for high school. Kaitlyn and her mom decide it's time to rejoin society by living to Florida in a beach side home. Her mom is no longer working from home and she is going to a real high school. Throughout her journey she finds a boy. Adam Jensten. He was very different.
