Jack is a normal guy in the 50s, living with his older brother Johnny, he just turned 17 and got he first job. Him and his brother, just moved to River Ville Ohio, new town, new school, new start. Then it all comes crashing down around him when a mystery man walked into the Eastwood diner.
Back in the 50s, you'd be killed if you were gay, so good thing Jack isn't. Although for some odd reason, he can't get the man out of his head. Good thing he'll never see him again, right?

I wrote this story before I knew what I was even doing! This was written in 2011 and is unedited and sloppy. It's the first story I ever wrote. Maybe one day I'll be able to do an edit now that I know what I'm doing more. First step, moving out of my parent's house. Second step, finding a roommate. Kendra finally thought she was free. She's 21 and getting a place away from her parents. She never thought it was going to be this hard but when you end up with a sex-crazed roommate that doesn't know the meaning of quiet or privacy... things can get a little complicated. *for those who read the other, it's the same thing but better ✨, I'm re-writing the story, things that were canon before may not be anymore, I'm still bad at writing but better than b4 bc then I was 9th grade* Btw I know barely anything 'bout sports. So if I mess up anything sport-related I'm sorry. Jack is the main character. He used to get bullied and abused but things change when he befriends his bully. His sister is a bitch and is part of the reason he is abused at home. Tom was Jack's bully 😔. We also follow his side of the story and see whatever problems he has going on at home. He finds out Jack has a problem and tries to help him, so they become friends. He is also struggling internally with smth. What is that thing? idk, figure it out. I'm not sure but I think its a slow burn you be the judge (I've decided to add a year to this story. It's 2025, remember this is my own universe so things are not as they'd be irl)

Safe was something Alex hadn't felt since he was a child, and even then, after the truth all came out, he realized he had never been safe in the first place.
