Abyss did go see his mother once but she drugged him and tried to kidnap him. It was freaky how she knew what drugs worked on demons. But it all came to a stop when he met Jack. The angel intrigued him. Jack grew up in a very religious household. His father a preacher and his mother a religious teacher. As the only child his father expected him to become a preacher. But after Jack's mother becomes ill and on his way to the hospital his car gets rammed and he wakes up in heaven. A few weeks in and he's still very skeptical he should be here when a demon named Abyss comes up from hell to reclaim a bad sort.
