Brooke Johnson is a single mom, teacher and divorcee. When her mom becomes sick, she is forced to uproot and return to Los Angeles where Brook grew up. That is, until Brooke. Determined to fight the attraction, she gets dropped into his lap. Repeatedly. Things heat up during a weekend getaway but will their chemistry survive a dose of reality? **** "You..." She sneered, brows bending downward. "Umm...you know each other?" Leena asked, pointing back and forth between Brooke and Lincoln. "Me," Lincoln grinned, ignoring Leena and obviously thoroughly pleased that Brooke had gotten ruffled upon recognizing him. "Is it a habit of yours to interrupt conversations?" She accused, turning her body to fully face him with an intense glare. Lincoln shrugged smugly, "Only to people I enjoy irritating." **** Competing in the Cliché Madness Competition 2019! Group is up April 10-19! Beautiful cover by @l3sbianaf Stand alone story

Ellie thought she'd never find love again, especially after having her son, Noah, and the love of her life leaving her to raise their child alone. Ellie found contentment in being a single mother until she meets Daniel on a night out. He's charming, persistent, and doesn't mind that she has a child. She allows her guard down and ponders the possibility of a second chance at finding love. Everything seems perfect until she meets his mother and she quickly disapproves of her single mother status, and then the father of her son strolls back into her life demanding to be a parent. Ellie isn't used to the help or making decisions as a team, but Daniel sets out to prove he's the one for her, despite what his mother thinks. If falling was easy, we'd all do it.
