I just wanted to feel as if someone like you exists. You were the only one who cared enough to talk to me. The only one kind enough to try to get me to say more than two words. The only one who cared enough to keep me around, I know that by the time I give you this, you won't know where I am until the end. COVID...the pandemic entered our lives, the deadliest in a hundred years and caused a catastrophic change in our lives. It caused serious disruption of the economies all over the world and changed the way that we had lived earlier, drawing us out of our comfort zones. But there is another side of the story too, small as it may appear. It made us introspect and reach out for some of the things in life that we always longed for, but never had the time nor the sufficient will to indulge in, often hiding behind the veil of pretense that we cover around ourselves. One of the most cherished things that emerged out of this dismal scenario is that many of us found the time and the appetite for the company of our most loved ones, chiefly our parents.
