Vax are everywhere and nothing is certain. Track runner, Malakai Spade's parents were some of the only anti-vaxxers left in Ontario, which turned out to be a good thing, esspecially since all the micro-bots in the vaccines were hacked, giving these hybrid species of human the nick-name "Vax".

Now it is up to Spade and a group of non-vaccinated refugees to stop the Vax outbreak and save their country.All Rights Reserved

The world ended long ago, riddled with plague and zombies and destruction. But humanity survived, and humanity evolved. The Infection that helped bring the world to its knees also changed humans in ways to help them keep living in this now broken world ready to be rebuilt. I'm actually quite good at my job. I just happen to get distracted by one certain Eight-Ball, but it's not my fault he's good-looking, and charming, and funny... Anyway, all I have to do is help my group get the caravan to Del Phia. Should be an easy enough job. Just avoid the zoms and keep clear of the Raiders, and we should be fine... Right? There she meets multiple people including Ford, a stubborn and stern soldier that she is always disagreeing with but finds herself distracted by his eyes. The Immune band together and work for survival. Will they ever be able to find a cure? At what cost would they go to stay safe? Will they kill each other before being eaten alive?

This is a second view point from my original story - A Different Virus - Heartfire. I highly advise reading the original book first. Intro: Laura was a happy child without a care in the world. Her life is turned upside down when her father ends up in hospital with the bad flu and mother exiles her upstairs for her safety. She was never allowed downstairs again. Weeks pass and the streets become deserted with the exception of the red eyed zombies that wandered around. One night she notices a swiftly moving figure with glowing blue eyes in the street below. Should she call out or remain silent? Now that most doctors are dead and most medical equipment and knowledge is gone, we have to prepare for this disease as best we can. The only way we can do that, is get the vaccine. The only problem, the vaccine is locked away in a high security facility run by an AI. To get in, you must be registered as an employee of the company Xia-Hifa, the company that creates the vaccine. That is where I come in. Time is running out. Junin2 season is getting closer and closer. I have to get in there and get that vaccine before it kills us all in one of the most horrendous ways possible.
