"I- I just... I don't understand what you want." I nearly whispered, my eyes so lost in his I was afraid I'd never be able to find my way out. His expression didn't shift- not even for a second. His lips were so close to mine I could feel him breathing in the very air I was breathing out. It was silent. Nothing that the chilling calmness of the water and the heart that was beating out of my chest.

 The way I felt, being engulfed by the serene waters- but more importantly- being held in his arms. It was indescribable. Finally, his gaze shifted. His deep black eyes darted down to lips, which were chapped by my heavy breathing, then back up to my eyes. His fingers traced agonizingly up my thigh as his lips neared my ear. One word. That's all it took. "You."
