Jaundice may be a liver disorder and yellow staining of the skin and sclerotic coat that happens thanks to the discharge of a substance referred to as haematoidin within the blood. It may be detected once haematoidinconcentrations reach &gt; 2mg/dl.

Jaundice in adults is especially caused by excretion of haematoidin that is usually fashioned by the daily destruction and break down of red blood cells (RBC) within the blood.

Also, conditions like black vomit, T.B., malaria, aldohexose deficiency, pregnancy, malformations of the canal, liver issues lead to jaundice.

Symptoms of jaundice
People with jaundice have below signs and symptoms.

Yellow staining of the skin
Yellow discoloration within the sclerotic coat (the whites of the eyes) and mucose membranes
Light-colored stools
Dark-colored weewee
Nausea Itchiness
Diarrhea
Abdominal pain
Fever / chills
Weakness/restlessness
Loss of appetence
Headaches
Swelling within the legs & abdomen
