Raised by the dreaded mountain witch, Cattaleya grew up as a strong, independent woman who hated the wolf shape-shifters and other creatures.

When she met Alpha Clan of the Vanderwolf pack, Cattaleya felt the pull that annoyed her to bones.
She was his mate, much to the pack member's dismay. They want anything but a human mate, much more someone raised by the witch who killed a lot of pack members.

Their encounters were often her threatening him with wolfsbane or silver, but she became came fond of the Clan as time passed.

Haunted by her insecurities of Clan's dead mate and the pack's disapproval, Cattleya faces the battle in her mind whether to leave or to stay.

But circumstances became more complicated as Cattaleya discovered a reality that shook her to the core.
