Wirt has had a hard time moving on from his adventures that happened over the garden wall last year. Matters are made even worse after he moves away from his town in Arizona to the sleepy town of Gravity Falls, Oregon. During his move, he meets the mystery twins, Dipper and Mable Pines. Although the twins help him cope with moving a lot better, there is one thing that still keeps him awake at night. He has the beast's lantern and he feels like it's calling out to him.

The sun rises on a beautiful sunny summer day. Bill has been waiting for the perfect time to try again. Cast in stone, a statue in the forest of Gravity Falls, he had a lot of time to think. Then one night, the moon and stars lit the path for a familiar face, everything changed. The one who bested him, now growing up, worse for wear he'd turned to the arms of a demon in search of rest. Dipper Pines has been living in Gravity Falls with his Grunkles for eight years now. However, the apprenticeship was nothing like he was expecting. Nightmares getting worse and depression taking a nose dive Dipper finds himself spending his nights wondering the forest, that is till exhaustion over comes him and sleep pulls him into arms of stone. Summer is upon them, and with the twins 20th birthday rounding the corner Mabel takes the trip back to Gravity falls. All of his zodiac are in one place once again, it's the perfect time to make things a little weird. (This is an edited and updated version of my originally work, I've fixed some of the grammar and revamped the flow of the plot. Major details remain for the most part intact just better now that I have more writing experience. This is still definitely a BillDip story and will still be very gay, hopefully even more gay than the first time around.) Also! this is a slow burn and I mean I'ma make it slower than the first book because now that I've gone back and read over for the first time in several years I still think I was to fast with their relationship so I mean it when I say slow burn! [Bill Cipher x Dipper Pines fanfiction] Since the first summer Dipper and Mabel spent in Gravity Falls they've been going back every year. Now the twins are seventeen and still love the unknown future events of the summer. But this summer will be different.
