Well...I'm not quite sure how to describe this novel but I'll give it a try. It's a story that I have been working/thinking about for a while. Hope you enjoy it!

Description:
Selene hasn't had an easy life. Her rescue by her mentor 8 years ago leaves her with haunting nightmares and repressed memories. She now works as a hunter tracking down monsters that roam the world. Magic...is gone. When she takes a seemingly innocent contract, Selene's world is turned upside down. Follow Selene and her companions on a quest to discover who she is and what she's meant to do.  Be prepared for some romance (although it won't be the driving plot), mystery and a writer as she tries to improve her writing.
