The dawn of Homeworld began with Black and White Diamond starting the empire of the Great Diamond Authority. However, as Homeworld grew the two drifted apart. Black was quickly overshadowed by the creation of Yellow and Blue Diamond, leaving him with the title of the Forgotten Diamond. Slowly undercut and eventually subdued by his fellow diamonds he became Homeworld's greatest disappointment. But then came Pink Diamond and that's when everything changed for better or worse.
(I don't own Steven Universe I only own my OC Black Diamond, fusions, the cover for the book, and added perspectives to the story.)
NOTE: The Beginning of this story is under revision. If you don't like the story's beginning now, you might like how its written later. So, give it a second chance another time.

NOTE: This story features a WEAKENED Diamond character in the beginning. With quote-on-quote feminine traits as well. This is a fanfic about a progressive and influential show, so don't expect the norm when reading it. So, if that's not your flavor and you would prefer a character of this variety to be strong and hardcore right out of the gate do not read this story.

Meanwhile, a thousand years had soon passed after "the incident" had occured. A trusty and loyal servant of the White Diamond court, breaks free from the clutches of her owner. Pearl, having nowhere to ask help from, finds herself in Homeworld's intricate society as a renegade. With the help of her rebellion group, Tourmaline, Howlite and Zircon, they will find out who was behind "the incident" and stop an uprising threat that would soon destroy all life on Homeworld itself. The Neo Gem Empire: Light upon the Void.
I do not own Steven Universe or any other show or franchise This is simply a work for fun. A long, long time ago, when life around the universe was at its first steps. A being of unmeasurable power gave birth to a new species of living creatures. It created two which it hoped would make more of themselves, to grow and prosper on these barren Galaxies. However, unlike how the being expected, the two of its creations would separate due to their opposing beliefs and views in creation. While one of them seeked control and order, the other seeked for strength and prosperity. Having these opposing beliefs would separate not only themselves but the universe itself. One would control the Top part of the universe and the other the bottom parts. While unspoken a promise was made that day that light and darkness were to be divided indefinitely. One world would not dare to cross the other, and if it were to happen, the other shall not back down. The creator of these creatures could only look on in sadness, as its two creations created walls separating each other, it could only hope that one day something or someone would once again reunite these two fragmented worlds.
