Kassidy "Kassie" Rosenberg was a constant disappointment to her parents, despite her perfect grades and being leader of her high school debate team. She would have to win her debate competitions to even hold a fraction of their attention, hoping to follow in their footsteps of being either a lawyer or a politician. She easily became accustomed to winning.

That is, until one day, she loses her three year first place status against enigmatic Leila Evans. Kassie hates her from then on, and vows to utterly defeat her. But what happens if Leila transfers school, and both are now on the same team?
