Poezie
Once upon a time there was a skinny kid who had wings to fly, voice that could put angels to shame and feet that befriended rhythm & grace. Now hopelessness had gripped his soul ,insecurities shackled his feet and numbness embraced his voice. Why ? What happened? Today's society and its unrealistic beauty standards. That's what happened. Every one is constantly judged based on their appearance rather than their personality or performance. This short poem is the inner voice of a teen struggling with his skinny-according-to-society body. Hope you like it.
