Rose a girl newsie from Manhattan. Gets left on the street. When a crippled boy finds her they connect because it happened to him also. They find work as newsies to survive. When the strike starts they need to stay even closer. Also they might find that they are more than friends. This is a PG 13 book. You have been warned.
