The Waves

An announcement rumbled from the radio, interrupting what ever was being listened to with the oddly familiar and unnerving sound played during situations of horrifying terror (ex. bombings). What played after, no one expected:
"Attention, citizens of the United States. This is not a drill. I repeat, this is not a drill. Take immediate action in seeking solid shelter. All around the country are accounts of a potentially fatal virus. The virus is more dangerous to those within' close vicinity of those affected. The virus is fast paced in affecting the mind and body of those whom have caught it. The virus is one of a kind, spreading through sound waves. Those who catch it will see symptoms in this order: Excessive and violent coughing, visual and auditory hallucinations, loss of ability to understand language, disorientation, and abnormal amounts of aggression.
