It was spring of 1993. They were four unlikely friends with a bond that seemed it was unbreakable.
Lily wanted nothing more to escape the stuffy life of business parties and meaningless accolades that her parents wanted her. Joey was her best friend, with a soft smile and big dreams, living in a home that made him believe the world had no room for dreamers. Jackie was his older sister, always with a wild grin and wilder ideas, and James was her boyfriend and the one who could make any of them laugh, no matter the pain they endured.
Together it seemed the four of them could survive anything. If you have ever experienced friendship like theirs, you know what its like and how lucky they were. The day of the shooting, it all fell apart. But is friendship really all-enduring?
