Lucia Williams is a damaged girl. She's been broken from the inside out, and her mission for a fresh start is the only thing giving her some semblance of sanity. That desire seems to be cut short, though, when she meets Grayson Dolan - who, with his dangerous reputation, is just the type of person Lucia was running away from. Before she knows it she's fallen for him, whether she likes it or not, but she's determined to help karma run it's useful course. Lucia becomes the very type of person that destroyed her, but as Grayson is more than she could ever have expected, she finds herself drawn into a battle that she cannot win - and a story she never asked to be a part of.
