Rudra has always been interested in how the human mind works. What ticks people, what makes them do what they do. It explains her profession. Psychologist. It gave her the platform to fulfill her almost thirst for knowledge of the human mind and behaviour. She has come across many people with peculiar quirks and full rounded personalities that have astounded her. She studied them.

And then she met Khairah. Cold eyes that warmed in an unstable pattern of events. Bruised knuckles that never matched the joke on her lips. A mixture of pastels and darks Rudra has never seen before. She was intrigued. She wanted to study the black wave that was Khairah Ishraaq. The question was not whether Khairah would let her, but if Rudra can dive into dark waters, and come out as the woman she has always been.
