Genevieve Delora is chosen as the newest prophet for the royal family, which is a saving grace to her struggling family. What the royal family isn't aware of is that she's cursed to destroy the kingdom on the dawn of her seventeenth birthday and that her job at the palace may be her only hope in breaking the curse. Gen is immediately overwhelmed with tyrannical kings, political plans, and buried secrets among the royals, but she's running out of time. With the help of new friends in the castle (and some friends on the sea) including the "charming" and always silent prince and his friendlier sister, Genevieve seeks to track down an ancient map that leads to the staff of the gods- the only object that can prevent the curse and save the kingdom. However, there's a power greater than Olumia knows lurking in the shadows, and he's after the staff too.

Is fate always set in stone, or is the future still up for changing?

Features a strong main lead, a gay princess who's engaged to a prince, an all-women privateer crew who rules the sea, friendships, family, an incredibly "will they, won't they" slow burn, myths and folklore, magical gifts, and a diverse cast of characters.

Niccola is a demi-queen undercover in enemy territory. Her little sister went missing seven moons ago, but one lead remains: a picture of a woman's face, drawn by a diviner shortly after the disappearance. Tracking her down has led Niccola to Calis, the realm next door whose border with her own remains closed for a reason. There, the trail goes cold. Until, that is, Niccola runs into a man in the marketplace who bears a family resemblance to the woman she seeks. His name is Isaiah, crown prince of Calis, and he's investigating disappearances, too. They join forces, faking courtship to sneak Niccola into the palace and get Isaiah's wedding-minded mother off his back. It doesn't take long to suspect that a common threat might underpin both their realms' problems. And as Niccola begins to develop real feelings for Isaiah, she's faced with an impossible choice: reveal her secrets and risk breaking his trust, or leave him in order to chase down the woman who stole her sister... a woman whose forbidden magic comes with a cost that could bring both realms to ruin. ❖❖❖ Complete and fully edited. Even teen evil queens need love. Right? (Or at least a handsome sword-fighting minion to do their bidding!) *** Bad things happen when Rowen is around and the worst part is, she has no idea why until a massive family secret sends her on a fantastical journey to fight her evil fate. Will Rowen fold into the forces of dark magic or honor her true self? *** On the surface, Rowen Keckilpenny-Brown seems like a normal teenage girl with normal teen problems-no boyfriend, overprotective parents, and no friends other than a three-legged cat. But her wild red hair, reptilian eyes, and legendary temper say otherwise. When Rowen accidentally blows up the school gym, she discovers a dark secret her fathers have kept from her-she's the heir to an evil queen's throne. The current evil queen, Petronella Grimshaw, is desperate to crown Rowan the new sovereign and blackmails her into traveling to the queendom. Rowen has one month to learn how to evil queen, and it's not easy because there are those in the castle who want her dead, witches are disappearing, and an annoyingly cute swordsman keeps distracting her. Worst of all, Rowan finds herself in a duel against her biggest enemy: herself. She must fight her true fate, in the process uncovering deep familial mysteries and perhaps the biggest secret ever...That maybe, just maybe, she deserves to be loved after all. Princess Diaries meets the School for Good & Evil with a touch of Wednesday Addams thrown in for bad luck. The best kind! Cover by @ClarissaNorth
