The heirs to three kingdoms inherit not only the thrones but also their parents' prejudices and wars. As Luka-the second son to the king of Arlos-struggles to decide which battles are worth fighting and which blood feuds are justified, the bitter past unravels itself. Already one kingdom has crumbled. While war brews between the two that remain, even the deepest of his loyalties come into question.

A note to the reader: Thank you for taking the time to read this. Here is what you need to know:

1. The story is complete and, should the audience request I continue to post here on Watpadd, will be updated twice weekly.

2. This was my first attempt at a novel. I have grown much in my writing since then, so I am well aware of the book's flaws. I am here to post a story that I hope readers will find enjoyable, not perfect.

That's it. Enjoy, and feel free to leave feedback, as I will read each comment.

"Everyone loves a good fantasy, but my life was turned upside down by one." What would you do if you had the ability to control the air? How about if you were suddenly brought to a world where, despite your powers, you're at the bottom of the food chain? On a fateful night, Max Walker finds himself summoned to Asterisk and contracted to Liliana Lockwood as her familiar. Forced to leave behind his life on Earth, Max begins a precarious journey into the unknown world of magic. Training as a knight, learning to control mana, battling rogue necromancers and even being mistaken for Duke Walker's son... it's just one thing after the next. But as if that wasn't bad enough, Asterisk, a world which subverts reality as you know it, may just have something to do with Max's own heaven-defying origin... and a secret that could leave the universe hanging by a thread. Across the sea, in England, the Wars of the Roses rages, a bloody battle for the throne between the royal Houses of York and Lancaster where a word weighs as much as the swing of a sword. It is as a result of these plots, Edward and Constance are destined to meet. Echoes of the lost Song

11 parts Ongoing

In the northernmost kingdom of Elarion, where emerald forests stretch endlessly and magic pulses through the land, an ancient fae queen and her powerful siblings rule a realm bound by nature's forces. But outside their mystical borders, the human king Aldred of Menoria, driven by ambition and the hunger for magic, is watching. His heart is cold, his soldiers relentless, and his son, Prince Dorian, leads a campaign to claim the one thing that eludes their kingdom-control over Elarion's untamed power. When King Aldred's armies breach the sacred fae lands, an unthinkable war ignites-a conflict the fae call the War of Echoes. As human iron clashes with elemental magic, Queen Miradel of Elarion must rally her siblings, each wielding powers tied to the earth, wind, and beasts, to defend their ancient home. But the humans bring fire and steel, and at their head, Prince Dorian, a warrior as calculating as he is fierce. With the fate of their realms hanging by a thread, alliances will be tested, loyalties shattered, and both sides will learn that the echoes of war reach far beyond the battlefield. Magic, honor, and the survival of entire kingdoms collide in an epic battle for dominance-and in this war, even the victors will be haunted by the cost.
