An Uncertain Present
Alec Lightwood-Bane thought after becoming the archangel Remiel that life would settle back into normalcy. For a few months, he was not wrong. Magnus, his family (both old and new) and himself were able to continue on with their daily lives, taking the time to have fun together in a moment of peace. Unfortunately, that moment was only meant to last for so long. The Dark Order, thought to be long gone has risen once more. They are sure to bring death and destruction, all in search for a power that was believed to be long gone before but has recently returned. Jonathan Morgenstern And His Brother Meet The Avengers.
Jonathan Morgenstern has a younger brother, who goes by the name of Fenrir. Fenrir is also an experiment of Valentines', done with Asmodeus' blood as opposed to Liliths' blood, and is an orphan, with his Shadowhunter mother dying in childbirth and his Shadowhunter father being killed by Valentine before he is born. Fenrir was sent to Edom a year after Jonathan. During a time that they are both angry and upset, they meet after running asay from their respective demonic parent. As a result, despite Asmodeus and Lilith not getting along all that much, they put aside their differences for the sake of the boys and end up forming a close family unit. Jonathan and Fenrir grow up in Asmodeus' castle, under his watchful eye, training with Lilith every day, learning all sorts of different things, from languages to history, to yoga. When they find out about Clary and desire to meet her, Lilith and Asmodeus accidentally send them to the Avengers New York, where they meet the Avengers and Loki. Neither brother trusts the Avengers at first, but overtime they begin to trust Loki, who tells them about his past with Odin, who sounds so similar to Valentine. The brothers open up to Loki, who takes them under his wing. Their relationship only grows stronger overtime. A few months later, Magnus and Clary arrive and make sure that the brothers are happy with the Avengers. Magnus gives each of them a Bane Signet ring so that they can contact him before heading back to Alec. Follow the brothers' journey from Princes of Edom, to Avengers, to Princes of Asgard.
