Clary Fray is a fighter, or at least she has been ever since that night. The night that changed everything. Her life was almost taken out from under her but rather than let fear take control, she uses it to fuel her lust for revenge. She joins the Shadows of the Night, which is one of the two best fight clubs in NY. She has a plan: Be the best, never lose, feel nothing, and never go back to the girl she used to be. But what happens when the one man that can make her feel alive again turns out to not only be her rival, but the leader of Legends of the fall? Jace Wayland is the worst possible person Clary Fray could fall for but that doesn't stop her from tumbling into that golden abyss.
Jace Wayland, the bad boy no girl could ever tame, has finally met his match. The second he laid eyes on the feisty red head he was mesmerized. Clary, the girl with the fiery red hair and fierce heart, is hypnotized by those golden eyes that seem to stare into her soul, but their journey won't be easy. Valentine will stop at nothing to ruin Clary's life and Jace is just another obstacle he must get rid of to make that happen.

This happens after the city of heavenly fire.(In the Mortal Instruments series) She walks in gracefully and says with so much venom, that I flinch, "Sit down and listen." I obey, sensing a very wrong and dangerous vibe from her. She continues, "I am Ms. Smith but you will call me madam." I reply, "And I am Clar-" "I know who you are if not why would I have summoned that demon to kidnap you," she interrupts, glaring at me. I am shocked, why would this lady kidnap me. I am completely perplexed. She must have seen it on my face because she says, "You killed Jonathan Morgenstern when all he did was love you. I HATE YOU. If you weren't there he would have loved me. Now I will take your loved ones away from you." I am just about to reply when she sends electrifying green sparks towards me which make me lose consciousness. When I finally up she says, "I have cursed you. When you leave this house it will be the day of your sixteenth birthday again but this time Simon won't remember you and neither will your other friends especially your lover, Jace. If you get close to them then they will all die after a year. No other warlock can reverse this spell." Clary gets cursed one night by a certain vengeful warlock. That one night turns her whole world upside down. She has no one to trust, to depend on, to love. Will she survive this like she survived everything else or will she lose herself along the way? As they grew older Kayla grew feelings for Alec, as did Alec. Soon they started dating and have been since. The four shadow hunters' daily life was the same, they went on a missions and killed demons. That was until Clary Fray came along. What will happen once she comes along and finds out that she is a shadow hunter herself like her mother and learns about the shadow world. What will happen when they find out Valentine is still alive and has Jocelyn Fray; Clary's mother.
