Hello I am Chaunlee Suab I live in Japan Tokyo.I live with my mother Mita and my father Wong my big sister Yui and my little sister Kii. Our traditions are when spoken to you may never look adults in the eye, never interrupt unless told to speak. And the worst one of all if a woman or child gets a scar or hurt on her face she must where a vail (FOR THE REST OF HER LIFE!!) if rules not followed will get punished. But what happens when Chaunlee's life takes a turn when her family moves to America and meets girl charming boy will he persuade her to remove her vail or will he never see the scar that brought them together?

**(09/03/2023) Note: This story is semi-complete, meaning the last part is a summary with snippets of the rest of the story. While not completely "complete", it wasn't abandoned as is the fate of a lot of stories on this site. What started as a writing project from a "retired" fanfic writer and new DC fan, turned out to be a 4-year endeavor. At the time (late 2018) there were practically no Suyoo fics/aus around so I thought I'd make one.
