There's No Snow in Australia

« The street is swarming with people who decided no one else would think of last minute shopping, and the bells on the store doors are jingling incessantly. Red ribbons and synthetic fir branches are hanging everywhere. Fake snow is slowly pouring out of the snow cannons in front of the bakery. A nice choir of young ladies is singing Christmas hymns. That would be all very charming, if it weren't for the heavy heat bending my shoulders.»
