Prequel to the unfinished story, A Dragon's Adventure, this is how humans and wings coexist peacefully and how Lylian came to be. 

As a young dragonet living during the time of war, Lylian was raised differently partly from the fact that she is the princess of all dragons, but also because she is the prophecy dragonet. Instead of being taught only the basic hunting, flying, and surviving as an adult, she was also taught how to use magic, command other dragons, and how to negotiate. Because of this, Lylian tend to go missing and get herself in unpredictable situations. Luckily, each time this happens, she has friends to help her out. But each time she goes missing, she discovers a clue to her family's past, more sinister than the last. If she is able to find out what happened to them and avenge them, she might just be able to become a dragon worthy of being in the prophecy. But if she doesn't figure it out soon, everyone will be doomed. 

Will she be able to put the clues together to unlock her family's past? Or will she doom everyone including the friends she holds dear to her?

started late 2017, completed as of the 27th of December, 2019. it's old and messy but it was my first proper story that I worked hard on and finished :) Tsaganari is almost definitely the last adult dragon alive. All sixteen hatchlings are her responsibility and dragonkind's future. But, these dragonets didn't hatch normally. They're bloodthirsty and animalistic, motivated by primal instinct. They hardly resemble the proud and complex dragons of the past, with intricate societies and ever-growing knowledge. It all would've worked out if it wasn't for humans. Istania never thought her two-week holiday to Iceland would be confusing, much less dangerous. And yet, she ends up being knocked out outside her hotel and re-awakened...in a cave full of dragons, for crying out loud. The world as she knows it has faded, giving way to one that's wild, involving running for her life countless times, flying, and even...relationships. However, after all this, Tsaganari's intentions have never been very clear. Just as everything seems to be settling down, she tells them the truth. (I'm a massive fan of the monster hunting genre.) Written from Sep 2011 until April 2014. This was the very first adult romance I'd written and has a plethora of problems. Despite this, I won't do further editing as I'm putting my efforts into a full re-write. Author's note - Please be mindful of what you're saying when commenting. There were occasional rumps and obstacles in her life, like how the five elements had never granted her their strength no matter how hard she tried, but those were far from raising her concern. Her life was free from adventures, and she was glad of that. But then everything changed. Something was stirring in the forest beside her home, threatening its inhabitants and the town dragons alike. Things only became worse when she learned that her un-awoken element seemed to be the key in defending everything she'd cared for from its deadly jaws. Fairy found herself thrown head-first into an adventure she never wanted. Even as she tried to dig deeper, she only received more mysteries. But she was hopeful. Every problem must have a solution, like how every story has to come to an end. Surely, she will easily find a way to find her element, make some new friends, and possibly claw out some hidden conspiracies. And after that, she would be able to return to her peaceful life once again. Silver Town will always be her home, and there was absolutely no way this small adventure will force her to leave it, or worse, kill her right on the spot. (Making her naive to the cruelty of the world.) She always wanted to see the world outside of the castle. Though everyone saw her as a weak helpless princess that needs to be protected, and hidden from the cruel world she desperately wants to see with her blue eyes. A witch shows up one late after noon and offers her magic mirror, that can show her the outside world from just looking into it. She only needs to imagine the place she wants to see and will be there. The princess though was being a jerk so the witch cursed the mirror. Making it so that the princess ever looked into it, she will become a fearsome dragon. "The princess will no longer be a princess and she will see the world she desperately wants to see. Her soft skin will turn scaled. Her silk like hair will disappear and be replaced with sharp horns. She will be the monster outside as that she is inside." Whispered the witch.
