❝ Wait," I say, backing away. "Let me get this straight- you're Santa Clause?" I stare at the boy no more than a couple years older than me. He had to be kidding. He rolls his eyes, his handsome face illuminated by the lights on the tree. "Well when you put it that way, I suppose." The candy cane i am sucking on falls from my lips, clattering to the floor. "B-But where's the beard, the overflowing fat and the HO HO HO?" He snorts, a charming smile on his lips as he tugs on the end of my Santa hat. Hannah Jacobson has a perfect life, until it falls apart on Christmas Eve. Weeks later, without speaking to her family she meets Brett Kinard, and he seems perfect. Until it all falls apart with love and lies. ~~~~ "She's taken, and you're in my seat" I hear behind him in a manly voice. I look up and almost drop my mouth open at the fine man God has blessed my eyes with. He's got dark brown chocolate hair and he's hot. I don't know who he is but he can be my pretend boyfriend all he wants to be. He's tall, but not normally tall, he looks at least 6'6 and I don't think that's possible. He's hot though, not the typical type of hot. His arm has a tattoo sleeve all the way down it and his thighs are covered in jeans that hug him in all the right places. He's got on a plain hoodie with our college across it but he's immediately every girls center of attention because he's breathtaking. His chest is huge, it's straining under his hoodie and his eyes are so blue they look green. They are like a perfect teal color that's so intriguing. "Sorry man, didn't know" Dick tells him as he stands up and goes down a few seats opening his spot for this mysterious man. "Who are you?" I ask as nicely as I can as he sits down in the seat. "The guy who just saved you from that creep but you can call me Brett Kinard" he tells me as I nod. He's so handsome, I don't even think handsome is the word, he's just hot. I immediately almost drool as I look at him, along with every girl here. "Or daddy, whatever you prefer" he tells me as my mouth drops. I have never ever, went past kissing a guy and now he's throwing out daddy kink the day we meet? *Mature themes and scenes! I do not own any of the pictures!*Completa

He watched as her eyes skimmed over his dark eyes and black hair with barely a reaction. He felt his pride twinge a bit so he went further. Lifting his hands, he let the blood drip from them. Her eyes widened slightly and her chin rose. She looked at his hands then back at him. His dark eyes gleamed in a challenge. "You've not harmed me or mine, faery." She spoke out loud. "Blood does not scare me and neither do you. Keep your dog on its leash." Then she turned and calmly walked back inside. Intrigued now, he went to the window of the house and watched as she reassured her mother that the dog was gone "I'll see you tonight, reckless child." He promised softly. **** Marcus felt himself beginning to wake and struggled to stay in the dream. But it was no use. His eyes opened and he released the pillow his hand was gripping. It was the same one that she had laid her head on every night. His head went into the pillow heavily for a moment, breathing in her faint scent. He hated and treasured dreams like that with equal fervor. He rolled over on his back and stared at the ceiling. It had been decades since she'd been forced to break that promise. He lifted his hand and touched the ring that had been her last gift. It had been decades, but it was yesterday. ***I did not skimp on the steamy scenes so consider yourselves warned ok? There are also a few violent scenes that I'll try to remember to put a warning before so you'll have a heads up. Any of the pictures/artwork were found online so I reserve no rights to those just the story. But I do reserve all rights to the story. No matter how many times you get thrown off the thing, you appear right back on it? No? Just me then? See, I have this best friend. Former. Best. Friend. It's taking my brain a while to get used to it. Whatever. I'm hopelessly in love with him, and I tried desperately to admit my feelings out loud. So, I did. Raven Fox told me not to love him, and the look he seared into my skin when he said it was now branded into my brain. Now we're on the university book club Christmas retreat. Who did I get roomed with? Raven because of course I was given the bird. The damn bird that didn't love me in return. Which would have been fine had he not looked like the idea disgusted him. Six months have gone by since that day, and our tension is growing with more animosity each second. Now, we're doing activities together, and Christmas is my favorite holiday. He's not screwing this up for me. After a snowstorm starts hitting, though, I end up stuck in the middle of nowhere, out of gas in my snowmobile. I'm terrified as the wind starts picking up and snow starts whipping my face. I thought he wasn't listening. That he didn't care. So, why did he become the one to save me? Why does he look so distraught? His words say one thing, but his eyes are telling me his words are lies. Raven is lying to me. He loves me. But he doesn't want me to love him. All I want to know is why because I can't breathe without him anymore.Completa

Once upon a time, I was your typical good girl, doing my job like a total elf star, no complaints. Even with the little "gift" I was born with (aka my disability), I handled life pretty well. But let me tell you, luck's never been my plus-one. What am I talking about? Oh, just my lovely name-and the Christmas curse that comes with it! Every year, without fail, while my family's out decking the halls, I'm over here getting snowed under with the worst disasters. So, yeah, all I want for Christmas is for this nightmare of a season to be over. But this year? Oh, I've really hit the Christmas tree topper. Ever since I plopped myself down on Santa's lap at my office party and made a special wish, it's been one yule disaster after another! And now, I'm stuck in this sleigh ride from hell with that red-suited nightmare, forced to follow him wherever he jingles. Sure, he might be a total angel under that fake beard-mysterious and all-but I'm not about to let myself get wrapped up like some Christmas present under the tree. My brain's still in one piece, thanks.
