Eustass Kid and his crew are saved from certain defeat by some warriors atop dragons, raising them to the floating island of Krain.
There they meet Lys, a girl who has spent her life bound by duty as a warrior, whose wit and strength catch the attention of some red-hair. At the end Lys , curiosity for the outside world and respect for the infamous captain, drawn her to join his crew- to carve her own path.
What begins as mutual respect soon turns into something far more dangerous. As battles rage and alliances shift, Lys and Kid must navigate not only the perils of the sea but also the growing bond between them-one that challenges everything they thought they knew about loyalty, strength, and love.
