Amity is the sole heiress of the Barcelona family. Two years after her brother's death, Amity's father decided for her to marry Quinn, the heir of the Gatchalian family and the only son of a family friend and business partner. She decided to runaway as an act of defiance to her father. Amity then met Simon (Xiah Junsu/JYJ), the man who once saved her when she was mugged at a park by a beggar and offered her shelter. Eventually they became good friends and for a year they lived under the same roof. Everything was going smoothly until Alexander (Taeyang/Bigbang) showed up; Simon's rebellious and renegade younger brother who's now making her life a living hell.

Amity has special feelings for Simon but the latter seem to still love someone else; his ex-girlfriend Mia. As Simon hook up with his old flame, Amity spent more time with Alexander and realized that behind the bad boy facade is a sensible and caring person. And that obviously he's falling for her slowly.

Torn between her feelings for Simon and Alexander's affirmation of love towards her, will Amity choose the right one whom she'll give up her heart? Or will she never choose either of the two and just marry Quinn?
