After finally killing the man who murdered his parents and Chi, Ryu thinks that all his battles are over. But when he finds out that Chi is still alive and returns to the Hidden Leaf Village, he finds it devastated and almost completely destroyed. He also finds out that the Hidden Leaf Village is now under war with a newly founded village with hopes to conquer all the other villages. The Hidden Leaf Village increases its defense and everybody is preparing for the next attack, even though they know they are clearly outnumbered. Ryu and Chi are suddenly chosen by the Hokage himself to join the ANBU in order to gather intel on the enemy forces. Is this the end of the Hidden Leaf Village?
