All that they say,
Is, "Speak the truth."
To spread a falsehood,
Just has no use.

"Listen to me,"
A serpent hissed.
"Or all the meaning,
Of my words will be missed."

But they just spoke more.
For he had no voice.
Shortly thereafter,
He left without choice.

But she heard his voice,
And saw through the lies.
A light in the darkness,
