~Starting your life off, in the rain, in a dark alleyway, to your mother being dead is not the best way to start off life.
~Neither is being disowned by your parents, being called a 'Devil's child, and being beaten in a traveling circus.
《 But just because the beginning isn't what you expect, it doesn't mean that the ending can't be beautiful, in its own way.

Finding the Beauty Underneath
Emilie Castille has always been intrigued by stories of the infamous Opera Ghost. When her father tells her that auditions are going to be held at the Opera Populaire for singers, dancers, and musicians, Emilie wonders why only men can be musicians in the orchestra. When she decides to audition anyway as a violinist to prove a point, she becomes entangled with the Opera Ghost himself. As it turns out, Monsieur Opera Ghost is nothing like she had thought. When she joins him in his home, everything she knows about the world gets turned upside down. Emilie must face that the world is full of selfish people--including her own father. Will Emilie succumb to the Opera Ghost's thoughts about the cruel world, or will she be able to reach past it and manage to find the beauty underneath in him? Note: Obviously, I do not own any of the characters or songs to "The Phantom of the Opera". I do own the characters I created in this story, the plot, the cover I created, and any pictures I post with this story. This story starts when Messieurs Andre and Firmin have just taken over the Opera Populaire, however, there are some differences between the original "The Phantom of the Opera" story and mine.Complete

The Art of Manipulation || Phantom of the Opera & Loki the God of Mischief ||
As Ptolemy thought, we are all closer to Hell than we are to Heaven. If you push any man hard enough they can fall right back into the abyss from which they came. ~ Loki, The God of Mischief in The Art of Manipulation They were perfect for each other. She was light, he was darkness. She was pure, he was plagued. He was a ghost, and she was an angel. They had balanced each other like no other couple could. They calmed each other, soothed each other. They came together like Heaven and Hell, joined at the horizon by their love for music. He gave her his music and she gave him her voice. Their love was perfection in every sense of the word. They were also ignorant. Or at least...he...was ignorant. Ignorant to the fact that there was another being who loved him, too. I had loved him, that masked man. I had known him when all he was was a voice to her, her angel of music. I was his companion and he was my dream. A dream that would never be mine. A dream that I would long for for centuries. And now that I had a second chance, a second chance at the love I most desperately desired, I had to make a choice. Do I let things be, allow the Phantom's story to unravel the way it had the first time? Do I endure watching the man I love marry the woman who was so perfect for him again? That woman who was the dazzling soprano Christine Daaé? Or do I take him as my own?Complete
The Shadow's Melody || The Phantom of the Opera || Book One
|| Book 1 of The Shadow's Melody || As a maid here at the new Opéra Populaire I can certainly sense something different. Something missing. It lacked him. The Opera Ghost who disappeared. I know I should let it go. I know I shouldn't constantly think about a dead man. A murderer. But I simply can't. I can't forget about that man I fell in love with those many years ago. I yearned to hear his angelic voice again. I begged for it. Hoped for it. Prayed for it. I called for him in my dreams. The man they called The Phantom of the Opera. I would never have guessed that my hopes and prayers would soon be answered.Complete
Seal My Fate•Phantom of the Opera Fanfiction
*OLD STORY* As a writer, Emma knows better than anyone that characters exist to suffer. Her motto has always been "Help the plot, hurt the characters." That changes when, after being knocked unconscious in a dreadful car accident, she wakes up in a world that's not her own; a world where all her dreams come true. Unfortunately, not all dreams are good ones. And the opera ghost? Well, that wasn't exactly one of her best dreams. Now that the characters are as real to her as she is, is she still willing to advance the plot at their expense? Does she even have the power to make that decision? The song says she'll live as she's never lived before; surely that's true, but is it a good thing? That's up to her.
