The World as you know it now. In the year 2324, the States are no more and the World is now controlled by a complete government called Central. Putting screens in their Citizens' arms and creating a test to choose their ideal mate, some people may be able to see why Central is not the best choice for government. Meet Anna Robins, a young, seventeen year old Citizen with a dead father and a hard working mother who has to raise four children on her own. Anna was the prime of Citizenship until she was seven, when her father first disappeared. As soon as Anna turned fifteen she created a rebellion in the city that was formerly known as Los Angeles. Creating bombings in Central buildings is her specialty and Central wants her dead. Enter Lucas Rivers, an arrogant, handsome Assassin who goes by Luke. Luke is sent to gain information from Anna's rebellion, known as the Cardinal, and then kill her when he gives Central all he knows and all the need. Without a screen, he can follow her easily throughout the day and get to know her. But what happens when he starts to understand why she fights? Will he be able to kill her? Or will they just wind up killing each other by fighting this much? Read On!

Book Three: Ryan Tedder is the face of the newly-formed rebellion, but he thinks he's only half the man for the job. Although he holds a deep rage for President Carter, he doesn't think he's fit to lead the one rebellion that will last. Yet his anger is justified - not only does this dictatorship hold a terrifying reign over the nation, but it's filled to the brim with lies. For instance, there is no war between the United Kingdom and the United States. All the horrors the U.S. had unleashed were not because of a war, but merely gain for a power-hungry tyrant. Yet with the help of a group of trained and combat-ready rebels called "The Green," led by tough and tactical genius Daryl Conley, Ryan holds hope that he will, at last, be able to live his life free again. With Daryl and his group's help, Ryan, his bandmates, and others close to him must find ways to bring the government down, all while they're labeled public enemies and fugitives. On top of being committed for treason, Ryan must continue to find a way to save Ramona from the waves of her returned depression before they finally drown her. There's no doubt he's got a lot on his plate, but he may be the only one who can lead the nation back to independence - and being only half a man isn't going to cut it. © 2017 by Verona Rohellec.
