The World as you know it now. In the year 2324, the States are no more and the World is now controlled by a complete government called Central. Putting screens in their Citizens' arms and creating a test to choose their ideal mate, some people may be able to see why Central is not the best choice for government.

Meet Anna Robins, a young, seventeen year old Citizen with a dead father and a hard working mother who has to raise four children on her own. Anna was the prime of Citizenship until she was seven, when her father first disappeared. As soon as Anna turned fifteen she created a rebellion in the city that was formerly known as Los Angeles. Creating bombings in Central buildings is her specialty and Central wants her dead.

Enter Lucas Rivers, an arrogant, handsome Assassin who goes by Luke. Luke is sent to gain information from Anna's rebellion, known as the Cardinal, and then kill her when he gives Central all he knows and all the need. Without a screen, he can follow her easily throughout the day and get to know her.

But what happens when he starts to understand why she fights? Will he be able to kill her? Or will they just wind up killing each other by fighting this much? Read On!

Pia is convinced that Agui is her real love and her not getting together with him was the reason why all relationships she tried entering into always end on a bad note. There's only one problem in their getting together, though-her Exorbit malfunctions when she uses it with Agui, and their compatibility and dating prompts don't show. Determined to find a solution to what she thinks is the only thing keeping her and Agui from getting together, Pia finds herself entangled in the operations of Mulat, an underground movement of great thinkers who wanted to break free from government control brought by the Exorbit. There, she meets Aki, a dreamy, idealistic guy who also makes her heart skip a beat. In this post-apocalyptic society where choices are limited, Pia found herself deciding not just for herself but also for the future of the entire Tanglawan. Guns, revenge and buildings to bomb, what could go wrong? ✮ He came in, gun held out in front of him in one hand while the other was resting on his hip where a sharp dagger gleamed in the light. "Come on out little girl, why not make this easier for both of us. The agency you ran away from just want to have a little talk, that's all." She scoffed internally. Yeah right. Then the footsteps ceased. She peeked to the right, then to the left. Neither direction showed any sign of the intruder. She looked up in front of her and gasped, the glint of steel and smell of death as overwhelming as it was adrenaline inducing, exciting. "Boo." ✮ Murder, accidents, assassinations. Call it what you will, it's all the same, all has the same life breaking, mind shattering consequences - be it for the victim or the bystander. It had shaped Alex in a way no one should be. Broken down and rebuilt into the perfect soldier, one who had the power to change the world, to fight battles that would either make or break the carefully constructed vision we all live in. The only small, minute, really unimportant detail - it's pretty hard to get into a government classified site when you're 15 years old and have a rag-tag team of double-crossing back-stabbers behind you. Not to mention the threat of a world war and ghost hanging above your head. Armed with sarcasm, wit, and a hell of a lot of aggressive intentions, it won't be too long till a sticky situation is all that's ahead of you. Sometimes, running head-first into a situation isn't the best idea. Instead, you gotta play a game. A deadly game where either you have all the pieces on the board, or you have nothing. [previously known as Espionage: double-cross] Thanks for reading :)

At first I thought I'd pick something a bit out of my comfort zone (so.... NOT SciFi for once...) to expand my horizon, but when I saw a prompt about time travel I was immediately inspired. Please keep in mind, all of this is WIP! The title, cover, and some of the content might change at any time... I have an outline and I worked hard to come up with a compelling and consistent story line, but due to the nature of the story (timey whimey stuff!) I might have to revise things a few times as I write. I'm grateful for any feedback and I hope you enjoy :)

The Metaphorical Key Book II- Forge the Path

23 parts Complete

(If you haven't read the first book, stop here! Don't spoil yourself, the first book is also on my profile) The death of a friend can break a person, or reshape them. It could be the straw that broke the camel's back, or a motivator, a push in the right direction. Aiden isn't sure where he falls. All he knows is the guilt and the desire for vengeance. Maybe things could've been different if he hadn't made such a disastrous mistake. But then an opportunity arises for Aiden to learn more about his fallen comrade, to get to know him even beyond the grave. And like death, everything that follows could make or break the rebellion. Note: This story contains a subplot featuring a romance between two boys. It's presented as normal. If you have a problem with the lgbt+ community, then this isn't the book - or authour - for you. I'm a member of the community myself. Happy pride month! Spread love, not hate. <3
