The whole town fears that a serial killer committed the gruesome crime, as serial killings were popular in the USA at the time. When Detective Liz Smith opens an investigation, she realizes that indeed both crimes were committed by the same person, but something wasn't right. So she calls up and old acquaintance; Agent Ricky Lopez, who she met at a Criminal Psychology conference. Agent Ricky Lopez and Detective Smith begin to unfold truths, just until Detective Smith was stabbed three times at her father's retirement party. Agent Ricky Lopez fills in the gaps himself and reveals the truth in a chillingly-interesting interrogation with the perpetrator. Be warned though, this book is not as straightforward as portrayed in this summary, as timeline and perspectives are shuffled, making it a lot more baffling. Witches keep disappearing and appearing in Darkwoods ( a school for Vampires)and Vampires keep disappearing from Darkwoods to Territorial high ( a school for Witches).A case yet to be solved. Could this strange happenings be because of Jaden or another mystery to be solved.

While she was out on a trip her husband died because his drink had bleach in it also her oldest son went missing and after so many months of searching for him he was unable to be found. Sarah decided to take it up upon herself to find her son but will she be able to beat her disorder?

The story goes that one day Ali - may Allah be pleased him - noticed that his wife Fatimah -may Allah be pleased with her - had in her hand an 'Ood al-Arak, also known by the name: Siwaak سِواك and she was using it (For those of you who don't know, a Siwaak سِواك back then was their equivalent of our toothbrush nowadays. It is made from the branches of Al-'Araak tree شَجَرُ الأَراك). So he decided to flirt with her saying: قد فُزتَ يا عودَ الأَراكِ بثغْرِها *** ما خِفتَ يا عودَ الأراكِ أراكا You even got, oh 'Ood al-Arak, to reach her mouth! *** Were you not afraid, oh 'Ood al-Arak, that I'll see you!? ولو كُنْتَ مِنْ أَهْلِ القتالِ قتلتُك *** ما فازَ منِّي يا سواكُ سواك Had you been of the people that fight, I would have killed you! No one has been able to defeat me, oh Siwaak, except for you!. The true lover and poet, is the one following and preserving the laws of Allaah!
