"Just remember swing hard and swing fast." I mutter eyeing his opponent.

"But they're better!"

I look him straight in the eyes,"Then swing harder and swing faster."

Beatrice Reyes, more commonly knows as 'Bea' or the Black Hornet in the boxing world. She comes from a tough life and has to support her two little brothers.

Ian Portman on the other hand doesn't have it all but he's off to a better start. He discovers Bea one night when he stumbles across her fighting in the boxing ring.

So it's simple. He asks her for training for seemingly unknown reasons and she asks for money in return.

Authors Note:
Pretty clean except dor the boxing violence I try not to put cuss words but you can kind of see where they go.

Reillyn Cole had experienced it all. Grief. Pain. Heartbreak. And yet, still, the cruel world continued to throw hurdles in her unendingly winding path. Elias Ryker had grown up under tyranny. Despite problems of his own, he becomes the most likely to be able to save her. And she was the last anyone expected to actually want to save him. But she did. She wanted him. He wanted her. But fate didn't want them together. Now, they must navigate an overprotective best friend, a homicidal father, a psychotic brother, and a hilariously crazy grandma. But, will Rei ever get her happy ending? - - - "Boxer Boy, you don't really have a choice in the matter, you either help me or I squeal about your very illegal activities," I obviously wasn't gonna tell but he didn't know that so I silently prayed he wouldn't call my bluff. He leaned down so he was eye level with me, he smelt like apples too. "Why do you wanna learn how to fight tigru?" I tried my hardest not to let my gaze flicker down to his bare chest, but it was right there and very distracting. He cleared his throat making me shoot my gaze back to him as I hoped my voice didn't come out shaky, "that's my business, just like the reason you fight is yours." His jaw sharpened as he straightened and seemed to contemplate what his next move would be. I took the time to declutter my thoughts and focus on what I needed from him; fighting lessons, the opportunity to save myself one final time. - - - "I love the book overall. It kept me on the edge of my seat and it was full of emotion! I can't wait for the sequel to come out! This book had something for everyone and anyone; if you enjoy reading, you'll enjoy this book!" - Mackenzie "I read a lot and this is one of the best books I've read. If you are this young writing this good I cannot wait to follow your career." - danielchristinatin

BEWARE, this is the very bad version I wrote when I was 15 years old but I did rewrite it now that I'm 20 and I promise that one makes much more sense! New version is called At All Costs you can find it on my profile! What I see in the mirror is nothing special. I see a girl with dark brown almost black hair, with brown eyes that have been dull for years. I sigh and raise my shirt so I can see the bruises from my opponent last night. If you haven't guessed yet I am a street fighter and a good one at that. I fight in a place called The Underground where my manager Smith sets up my fights. Although I'm only 5'3, I still only fight with men. For me that means more money that I win. Did I mention I am undefeated at The Underground? No, well I am and almost everyone places their bets on me. Or should I say placed because me and my family are moving across the country to New York which means I have to find a new place to fight and make money. That was really my only problem with moving because I don't have any friends here, it's not like people haven't tried I just don't like getting to close to people. Although my family still doesn't know about my street fighting, we still are very close after what happened with my father. They left but I know they will come back and finish what they started and that's why I started street fighting. I need to be able to protect me and my family when they do come back. I'm not letting my family get hurt this time.

"Will?" I asked sleepily. "Hey Rayna?" Will's quiet voice said shakily, immediately causing me to sit up straighter. "Will, what's wrong?" I asked, worry covering my face. "No one else was picking up. I need someone, please, Ray? I promise, I'll make it up to you," Will said, sounding desperate. Rayna Adams was outgoing. She could make conversation with anyone, and somehow they'd listen to her. She was a dancer, mainly to let out her emotions. She didn't know what she wanted to do in the future, but every decision she made was for her parents. William Haines was shy. He was quiet, and he hated small talk with random people he had no desire to talk to. He was a boxer, and he was a good one. He was smart, but he was mad at life, he wasn't sure exactly what he wanted to do. But maybe, if they worked together, they could learn more about themselves and help each other out along the way. (I know this description sucks, but I hope you'll still give my book a chance!) THE FIRST FEW CHAPTERS ABSOLUTELY SUCK AND I WILL GO BACK AND REWRITE IT, WHEN THE STORY IS OVER, BUT THE NEWER CHAPTERS ARE WAY BETTER.
