Jake Reinhart is homeless in the town of Urbem. The term 'thief' sticks to him like it's been engraved in his forehead. He has been screamed at, chased and arrested multiple times, and he is only eighteen years old. All just because he wants to survive, especially since he lost his family during an attack on the city. Then one day Magnolia Grace, the princess of Urbem he never knew existed, brings him into the castle after saving his life. She plans to take care of him until he is healthy to go back out. Usually she doesn't get too attached to the people she encounters, but to her Jake is different. They joke around together, go out together, and even give each other advice. Despite Magnolia's extreme personality, the two of them don't know what they would do without each other's company. Then again, a street rat and a princess have completely separate challenges in life. Although Jake and Magnolia have each other's backs, there will be some complications. But the real question remains: how will they make it work?
