Harper Itkin finally has the chance to escape New Orleans and go out to Los Angeles and make a name for herself. Or rather- create an even larger name for esteemed makeup artist James Charles. The new summer assistant has three months to keep James happy and out of scandals, land some part in a film, and show her dad that Hollywood is truly where shes meant to be.

However, they never said it would be easy, but Harper didn't consider James' best friend Grayson Dolan as a distraction. That is until she laid eyes on him. She also didn't consider Grayson's brother, Ethan being a total ass, unless it's towards his girlfriend, Emma.

Harper finds an unexpected friendship with Emma along the way- posing some difficulties with her relationship with Ethan.
