Isabella Jones lives in downtown Gotham, she gets the chance to work at Wayne Enterprise with an internship. There she meets Bruce Wayne. Attraction begins with just a look. As Isabella is out she is caught by the Joker and is saved by the mysterious Batman. As Isabella's and Bruce's love grows, the danger looming over Isabella's head grows while the Joker become infatuated with this new presence and wants her all to himself. Will Bruce and Isabella's love for each other survive or is she going to end up as another Joker's doll?

As an aspiring writer, it's difficult not to look at stories you love and wonder 'What if?' I have notice how the Joker's origin in The Killing Joke and the Joker movie (2019) both stories take place during the 1980s. But what if it took place today? That's what I try to answer! In this original work I explore how a complex character like the Joker could emerge and be influence by current social problems. It's a romantic, and specially mysterious short story that I wish one day could help me make it to DC as a comic book writer, and if I don't, at least I enjoyed writing it, and I hope you enjoy reading it! Disclaimer: This story is an original idea, of course I reference moments from DC comics and I borrow their characters to tell the story (After all, It's a fan fiction), but each character belongs to the respective owners.
