Steve falls in love with Bucky. Little does he know Bucky has feeling for him too. After Bucky goes off to the 107th Regiment, Steve is enlisted too. That's all he's ever wanted. Steve wants to protect Bucky even if it'll costs him his life. After years of being apart they finally meet again, but is that the same Bucky Steve knew from years ago? Or is the person he fell in love with a ghost of their past?
This story takes place pre super soldiers in the first few chapters and changes to post super soldiers in the following.
