Chloe’s life has been anything but normal. After her mom left and her dad started gambling, she had to really grow up and take care of herself from an early age. But when her father was sent to jail, Chloe was sent to live with her mom’s sister, Susan and her three kids. Chloe, the girl who never had any friends growing up, tries her best to fit in with all the kids in the town, but has trouble because of her trust issues and lack of social skills.   Then, Chloe meets Eli, a hockey player and best friend to her cousin Keegan. Eli shows her that it’s okay to be different and everyone has their own problems. He takes her on the biggest challenge of her life, trying to be a normal kid.   Can Chloe learn to open up and trust Eli with her deepest and darkest secrets?
