Rosie Holloway, a girl who moves multiple times she gets used to not feeling at home. When they move for the sixth time and for her senior year, she starts to believe that they move constantly because they're running away from something. One day she realizes that they aren't running away from something-but someone. She bumps into that someone at school, her childhood crush and her first kiss. The first time they moved was when she was eight after he broke her heart and she had a major freak out.

Noah Casanova, a boy who never really moved. Until one day, his mom tells him to pack his things because they're moving to L.A. He lived in the same house for years that the new house doesn't feel like home, even if he's lived in it for three years. One day at school, he bumps into someone that makes him feel at home again. He recognizes her immediately, his childhood crush. He promised her they'd be together forever when they were both eight. He hopes she isn't mad at him, but she claims to not remember him at all.
