Andromeda Cortez or "Andi" for short seems like a feisty woman in her mid 20s. She is also one  of the enhanced " Multispecialist" humans who are able to hold down more than one specialized field of expertise.

She is currently taking a break from her research to act as her best friend Samira's maid of honor at her Renewal of Vows Ceremony since she was not able to attend the real wedding years ago.But then her recent migraines and recent dreams have been bothering her a lot these days; They showed her a world she has never seen, alien lifeforms that somehow made her heart ache and filled with technology she has never touched but most of all, 

it showed her dreams of falling into a black hole over and over again.

Krei is a strong, strapping Blood Kindred that always loved his life as a warrior and he has fought different wars for either KIndred or for others but a twist of fate made him younger when he flew through a black hole filled with red energy.

He is now 10 years younger than his former self but has retained his memories and battle prowess but somehow he has a feeling that he has lost something when he fell into the abyss. He just does not know what it was.

When he met the aggressive Andi, who seem to be repulsed by his touch; Unwittingly that made his heart ache and his fangs to sharpen. He now questions why is he feels this way when she clearly wants nothing to do with him?

But when strange alien bounty hunters attacked the Space Station as the Renewal of Vows was finished and kidnapped Ms. Cortez for unknown reasons. Krei volunteered to go after her and bring her back home. Find out what does fate hold for both of them in this book.
