Optimism in That 'Condition'
This is the story of many who think are alone and are left out. They feel abandoned and some are even despised. Good news; you are neither left out nor abandoned; we are in a different generation, where people have learn to embrace and love ‘us’. You are not alone in the fight; there is a great multitude in front of, at the back and beside you; so take courage. Having gone through this experience, I can testify that the people around me have really been there for me. I feel loved, especially my mum, who is my role model and my greatest inspiration. This romance autobiography is an accumulation of over 15 years of writings. I'm 72 and have experienced many wonderful, beautiful, educational, and enlightening moments. I've also endured the dark night of the soul where nothing means anything, all hope is gone, unrelenting loneliness and extremely deep re-occurring depressions. Flip sides of the same coin we call life. I've survived impossible accidents that should have killed me. I've filed bankruptcy twice, loosing half a million dollars of real estate. I haven't had a car in 10 years, rent a furnished apartment and all I own is a cellphone, television, and computer. I've had 20 different careers. Naming a few, I've been a foreman in a steel foundry, automobile salesman, district manager overseeing a 15-million-dollar territory, owner of a television/appliance retail company, store manager responsible for 80 employees, retail manager in the cellular industry, and a dealer for one of the largest casinos in the nation. Some of the wise decisions I thought I was making turned out to be really ridiculous. When writing these down, I wondered how on earth could I have possibly been that stupid. You'll find many that are quite hilarious. I started jotting down thoughts on a cell phone memo pad over 15 years ago. These writings have turned into eighteen manuscripts. An author has the natural talent to paint pictures with words; I do not possess that skill set. Quite by accident, I've developed into a writer. Letting go is so easy for some but not for me. I don't know but my heart is just so stubborn. I don't easily give up. It takes me a very long time to let go. My eyes can always see the other side of the story. A flicker of light in the candle gives me hope for a better future. But that was changed that Sunday afternoon when I communicated with him the feelings I've been holding on...the hurt that caused me so much pain that seemed to rip off my heart again and again. I've tried to hold his hands, but to my surprise, it felt cold. I knew that there was something missing. Well, perhaps the pain was so strong that my love was overshadowed by it. Forsaken Innocence
I have had dreams. Well, who doesn't. May be mine shall appear simple and petty to others. Yet they were mine to cherish. I want to do well for myself and make my life worth living. Like any woman, I wished to have a family with a loving husband and cute children. A fulfilled life amidst love and care of family & friends. I am clumsy but never scared to take a leap. You can term me as ordinary but I dared to aim for extra ordinary. Heartbreak is a risk but I forbid to wrap my heart in an ice cage to protect it. One need to live life fulled to make your death valuable. People often term me as naive. Am I? Perhaps but I never cared. I loved myself and my near & dear ones. Yet it took one incident to turn my life upside down. A moment I was blooming and next I am thrown out in dirt. What was my mistake? That I took enough courage to wish a life with the man I love with my heart. Is it too much to ask for an ordinary woman? I was stripped of my dignity. Portrayed my persona as gore. Colors were taken away from me, so were my dreams. My friends and love could do nothing but gaze me with pity. I tried to make peace with my fate and resort to a life of disappointment. Atleast, I had my family. But then I realised that residue of cruelty was still left inside me. It threatened to poison whatever I hold precious to me. Destiny And Its Complications
In life, we go through life searching for our purpose or destiny. We try different things, explore different paths, and follow our passions, hoping that our destiny will reveal itself to us. But the truth is, destiny is not something that can be found, it is something that is created by our own choices and actions. We may have an idea of what our destiny should be, based on societal expectations or our desires, but it is important to remember that our destiny is not set in stone. It can change and evolve as we grow and learn. What is meant for us may not always be what we expect, and that is okay. Discovering our destiny is often intertwined with finding real love. To know what real love is, we must first understand that it is not just a romanticized concept portrayed in movies and books. Real love is not about grand gestures or constant passion, it is about commitment, understanding, caring, and support. It is important to love oneself first before seeking love from others. When we have a strong sense of self-love and self-worth, it becomes easier to recognize and accept what real love really is. Real love is not about changing ourselves to fit someone else's expectations, it is about finding someone who loves us for who we are and supports us in our journey towards fulfilling our destiny. It seems like just yesterday I was saved. Not knowing what to do next or where I should go. Little by little I had to find my way and put together the lessons I was taught from different sources to seemingly lead a holy life. My supreme happiness came from when I found Jesus. Little did I know all I had to do was dwell in his heart and he would provide me with the wisdom I need and show me the things I could only fantasize about. Things like these seemed to me too precious to keep hidden, and that's when I knew I just had to share Who He is to the whole world. My fifty years of good or bad heartfelt life experiences written in honest, bold and direct expressions. I believe my purpose and mission are to live a passionate life and share my interesting story with the world to inspire and touch people in many ways. I took two years to write and two years to revise and edit it with the help of my third child and two professional editors. After being turned down and advised by hundred of publishers to turn my story into a novel. I kept trying but couldn't do it as it is not in me.
