When Reia comes home from school one day, she noticed something glowing behind the trees at the side of the road.

It was blue, wolf eyes.

There was a black wolf watching her in the bushes.

The most weirdest part is that it won't go away. It is always there, near the school yard at lunch time, around the trees next to her home, watching her.

She has no one to turn to. They won't believe that there would be a wolf following her. The main instinct of a wolf is to kill person on first sight - but why not this one?

There is a school, in the middle of no where, called The Sanctuary. A school for delinquents. Reyanna Camp's life has been a little bit upside down. She was sent to The Sanctuary for a number of reasons. One is because her dad died and her mom remarried, and then her mom died and her step-dad remarried and so she wasn't really their kid. Besides that fact, she's emo and they don't really know how to deal with her. Jake is a wolf. He was born with it. But his crazy father decided to go experimental and see if werewolves can be created by an injection. However so, the injection hasn't been working. It's been taking the lives of those injected, and the council just tells the world that the poor delinquent just committed suicide. And now Reyanna, the newest guest, and Jake's mate arrives. His dad goes behind his back and injects her too, but something is different. It works. And no one knows why. **#1 in #Darkmoon** A walk in the forest, that's what I need. A stressful day at school and a walk in the forest will relax me. This is what I do all the time. Every day without fail, I take a hour walk in the forest behind my home after school. This time something happened that I didn't even expect in these woods. At first I heard a low growl and thought it was just a dog and an owner. Then it got louder, sounding like it was getting closer. My head jerked in a direction where a twig snapped, causing my heart to start beating faster then normal. It was a bit dark in the forest, considering it was winter. Then that's when I saw it, the red eyes coming from the bushes. My feet were frozen to the spot, I wanted to run but my feet didn't want to move. I felt a hand go on my shoulder, turning my head, I saw a man, probably in his early twenties. ''Run!'' He whispered but loud enough for it to be a shout. I looked at the eyes and a hand grabbed mine, pulling me off in a different direction. This isn't the best way to meet someone but what happens when they see more of each other? Will they enjoy each other's company? Will he be able to tell her the truth? This is my first werewolf story and I know that it won't be to everyone standards but please enjoy. Copyright. It was his eyes. His eyes held me captive. They contained every emotion that I could ever think of and more. They reflected myself back onto me. My pain, my fear, my sadness. There was even a sliver of the happiness that I used to feel a long time ago. His eyes made me remember everything that had happened in my life up to this point. They also made me forget. They made me forget almost all of the things that were being reflected back at me as well, like my sadness, my fear, and my pain. They made me forget what it was like to feel hurt, to feel rejected, to feel forgotten. He kneeled down in front of me, bringing his beautiful eyes closer, so that I could see the starburst of lighter flecks decorating the iris. "Are you alright?" He asked with a voice as soft as the rain. As soft as the concern he had for a pitiful girl curled up behind the school dumpster in the rain. I couldn't speak. I was too focused on his eyes through my tear-filled gaze. "Did someone do this to you?" His voice had an edge of hardness to it now, like a diamond with a sharp edge. I could only nod. He fell silent for a few seconds, letting the swelling rain be the only sound between us, before he reached out slowly and scooped me into his arms and lifted me up easily. "Don't be afraid, okay?
